VIRGINIA WATER, England, July 30 (UPI) -- Luke Donald keeps the No. 1 spot in the men's world golf rankings, updated Monday, for a 10th consecutive week.

Donald, who retook the top ranking May 27, has been No. 1 for a total of 55 weeks. That is fifth most all-time and six weeks short of the total amassed by Seve Ballesteros.

Third on the list is Nick Faldo (97) but the top spot all-time figures are well out on the horizon. Greg Norman is second at 331 weeks at No. 1 and the record -- 623 weeks -- belongs to Tiger Woods.

Donald has a ranking points average of 9.838 followed by Woods at 8.369. Rory McIlroy is third with an average of 8.269 and Lee Westwood (7.767) comes in fourth.

Webb Simpson (6.291) is fifth ahead of No. 6 Adam Scott (6.172) and seventh-ranked Bubba Watson (6.124).

Jason Dufner is eighth at 5.790 with Matt Kuchar (5.690) and Justin Rose (5.396) completing the Top 10.

Last week's tournament winners were Scott Piercy and Bernd Wiesberger. Scott claimed the PGA's Canadian Open and goes from No. 100 to 58th in the world. Wiesberger collected his second European Tour title with a victory at the Lyoness Open in Austria. That improves his ranking to 78th, a climb of 35 spots since last week.
