MLB: Atlanta 4, Miami 3

MIAMI, July 24 (UPI) -- Tim Hudson overcame a rocky start Tuesday, settling down to retire 16 straight Marlins in the Atlanta Braves' 4-3 victory over Miami.

After yielding a two-run homer to Jose Reyes in the second inning, Hudson (9-4) didn't allow another base runner the rest of the way. The right hander finished by surrendering three runs on five hits over seven frames.
