Stallings has 4-shot lead in True South

July 21, 2012 at 11:10 PM   |   Comments

MADISON, Miss., July 21 (UPI) -- Scott Stallings held a four-stroke lead as darkness fell during the third round of the True South Classic Saturday, standing at 6-under-par through 10 holes.

Stallings was at 18-under for the tournament, good for a significant advantage over second-round co-leaders Jason Bohn (1 under through nine) and Billy Horschel (one-under through nine), as well as Heath Slocum (6-under through 13).

Delayed by rain all week, the tourney was again held up Saturday. After a 3 1/2-hour stoppage, second-round play was completed late in the afternoon.

The third round will resume at 8 a.m. Sunday.

Stallings is seeking his second victory of his career after claiming The Greenbrier Classic last year.
