CHICAGO, July 21 (UPI) -- Restricted free-agent center Omer Asik has signed a three-year, $25.1 million offer sheet from the Houston Rockets, the Chicago Tribune reported Saturday.

The newspaper said the current Chicago Bulls player had dinner with Rockets Coach Kevin McHale Friday in Las Vegas, returned to Chicago and signed the offer sheet.

That gives the Bulls three days to match the offer or let the second-year front-courtman leave for Houston.

Signs are pointing toward Chicago not matching the offer for the 7-footer from Turkey, the newspaper said.

He averaged 3.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in 66 games last season.
