BASTAD, Sweden, July 21 (UPI) -- Polona Hercog of Slovenia will defend her title at the Swedish Open after winning Saturday's semifinals match against Mona Barthel.

Hercog dispatched the seventh-seeded German 6-1, 6-3 Saturday and will face Mathilde Johansson of France in Sunday's finale at the Bastad Tennis Stadium.

Johansson made it top the finals by ousting Johanna Larsson 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday.

Hercog and Johansson have only met once before. Hercog defeated Larsson in last year's Swedish Open to win her first WTA championship.
