ATLANTA, July 18 (UPI) -- James Blake finally won his 350th career victory late Tuesday, topping sixth-seeded Ryan Harrison at the BB-and-T Atlanta Open.

Blake, who had come up short of the milestone in his six previous tries, prevailed Tuesday with a 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over his fellow American that also advanced him into the next round where he will face Australian Matthew Ebden.

Ebden advanced Tuesday with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 win over Russian Sergei Bubka. Ebden capitalized on six of his 10 break opportunities.

Also advancing was eighth-seed Go Soeda, who rallied to beat Xavier Malisse 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.
