MLS: Toronto FC 1, New England 0

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., July 14 (UPI) -- Luis Silva scored the only goal of the game in the 8th minute Saturday and and FC Toronto snapped New England's five-game unbeaten streak, 1-0.

Silva and Danny Koevermans teamed up on some quick passing on the edge of the penalty area that resulted in a tally for the Reds rookie, which was all Toronto would need.

Koevermans barely missed another shot past the far post in the 14th minute for Toronto (4-11-4).

The Revolution (6-8-4), meanwhile, went down to their first defeat in six matches.
