ANAHEIM, Calif., July 8 (UPI) -- Brad Mills and four Los Angeles relievers combined for a five-hit shutout Sunday and the Angels hit four homers in dominating Baltimore 6-0.

Mills (1-0) was effective in his Angels debut, controlling the Orioles on three hits over five scoreless frames.

Called up from Class AAA Salt Lake to make a spot start in the last game before the all-star break, Mills responded with six strikeouts and didn't issue a walk.

LaTroy Hawkins, Kevin Jepsen, Jordan Walden and Ernesto Frieri each pitched a scoreless relief frame to complete the shutout as the Angels won for the fifth time in six contests entering the break.

Albert Pujols, Mark Trumbo, Erick Aybar and Mike Trout each went deep for Los Angeles.

Baltimore's Wei-Yin Chen (7-5), meanwhile, lost for the third time in four starts, surrendering five runs on five hits through four full innings.
