PHILADELPHIA, July 7 (UPI) -- Atlanta's Tommy Hanson settled down after a rough start Saturday, pitching five scoreless frames, and the Braves rallied for a 6-3 victory over Philadelphia.

Hanson (10-5) surrendered three runs in the second inning, but then shut the door, setting down 12 straight Phillies batters. The right-hander ended up allowing six hits and a walk while striking out six.

Eric O'Flaherty supplied a scoreless eighth inning and Craig Kimbrel collected his 24th save with two strikeouts in the ninth for Atlanta, which clinched its three-game series.

Brian McCann homered and drove in two runs, including a score-tying single in the fourth inning, and Andrelton Simmons' sacrifice fly later in the frame completed Atlanta's comeback from an early 3-1 deficit.

Martin Prado provided two RBI for the Braves.

The loss was hung on Joe Blanton (7-8), who coughed up six runs (five earned) on nine hits in a 6 1/3-inning start.

Blanton, Jimmy Rollins and Juan Pierre drove in runs for Philadelphia.
