BALTIMORE, June 26 (UPI) --
Peter Bourjos smacked a two-run homer Tuesday, one of four long balls launched by the Los Angeles Angels in their 7-3 win over Baltimore.
Bourjos' blast in the sixth inning handed the Angels a 5-1 lead and they went on to take the first contest of a two-game series at Orioles Park.
Albert Pujols, Mark Trumbo and John Hester (3-for-4) also went deep for the Angels, who won for third time in four games overall.
C.J. Wilson (9-4) limited the Orioles to one run over seven innings, allowing six hits and two walks while striking out a pair.
Baltimore starter Brian Matusz (5-9) was raked for 13 hits in a five-inning performance, surrendering five runs.
Steve Pearce and Wilson Betemit homered for second-place Baltimore, which fell for the fifth time in seven contests and dropped four games behind the American League East-leading New York Yankees.
