'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 23 (UPI) -- Nadia Petrova of Russia claimed the UNICEP Open title in the Netherlands Saturday with a straight-set win over Poland's Urszula Radwanska.

The eighth-seeded Petrova ousted the qualifier 6-4, 6-3 for her first WTA crown of the year. She advanced to the finals when her semifinal opponent, Kim Clijsters, withdrew with an abdominal strain.

Petrova may have proven a worthy opponent for Clijsters since she did not drop a single set over the course of the tournament.
