MLS: New England 2, Toronto FC 2 (tie)

TORONTO, June 23 (UPI) -- New England's Chris Tierney scored late in stoppage time Saturday, salvaging a 2-2 draw for the Revolution against Toronto FC.

The Revs netted the equalizer in the fourth extra minute. On the play, Tierney launched a header off a cross from Fernando Cardenas, and the Revolution (5-7-3) came away with a point.

Second-half substitute Blake Brettschneider began New England's comeback from a 2-0 deficit in the in the 71st minute, firing home the rebound of a Benny Feilhaber shot.

Danny Koevermans and Ryan Johnson scored for Toronto FC (1-10-2), who are 1-1-1 under new head Coach Paul Mariner.
