CHICAGO, June 23 (UPI) -- Dayan Viciedo went 3-for-4, homered and provided four RBI Saturday, boosting the Chicago White Sox to an 8-6 interleague win over Milwaukee.

Viciedo's two-run shot in the fourth inning put Chicago ahead 4-1, while Alex Rios' one-out base hit up the middle off Jose Veras (3-3) in the seventh scored Gordon Beckham to break a 6-6 tie.

Rios finished 3-for-4 and Beckham also had three hits with an RBI for the Chisox, who pulled to within 1/2 game of Cleveland atop the American League Central with only their third win in 10 games.

The Indians lost 8-1 to Houston earlier Saturday.

Jesse Crain (2-1) earned the victory after retiring the final two Brewers batters in the seventh and Addison Reed recorded the final four outs for his ninth save of the season.

Norichika Aoki went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, while Nyjer Morgan, Ryan Braun, Martin Maldonado, Cody Ransom and Carlos Gomez provided RBI for Milwaukee.
