CHICAGO, June 20 (UPI) -- Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade's attorneys asked a Chicago judge to suspend his ex-wife's visitation rights for refusing to return their children.

Siohvaughn Funches-Wade allegedly barricaded herself in her Chicago home Saturday when Wade's sister tried to pick up the two boys, 10 and 5, so they could fly to Miami in time to be with their father for Father's Day, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Police later arrived at Funches-Wade's home and arrested her when she stepped outside. She was charged with two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest. She was released Monday on $10,000 bond.

Wade won sole custody of his two sons last year after a five-month trial. Wade and Funches-Wade separated in 2007 and finalized their divorce in 2010.
