CHICAGO, June 20 (UPI) -- Gavin Floyd combined with three relievers on a four-hit shutout Wednesday in carrying the Chicago White Sox to a 7-0 triumph over the Chicago Cubs.

The White Sox avoided a sweep at the hands of the Cubs, who have dropped five out of eight.

The loss went to Randy Wells (1-2), who made his third start of the season and gave up three runs on five hits with four walks in 3 2/3.
