MLB: Arizona 7, Seattle 1

PHOENIX, June 19 (UPI) -- Aaron Hill went 4-for-4 with a homer to back Wade Miley's strong start Monday in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 7-1 interleague victory over Seattle.

Hill capped Arizona's scoring with a seventh-inning solo shot and scored three times while Justin Upton supplied a pair of RBI for Arizona, which broke a two-game losing streak.

Josh Bell added two hits, including an RBI single, as the D-backs took the first of a three-game interleague series.

Miley (8-3) controlled the Mariners on one run over seven innings, working around nine hits while walking none and striking out eight.

Seattle's Hector Noesi (2-8) logged his eighth straight start without a win, yielding six runs (five earned) on nine hits in a six-inning stint.

Casper Wells provided the only Mariners run with a sixth-inning RBI double.
