MLB: LA Dodgers 2, Chi. W. Sox 1 (10 inn.)

LOS ANGELES, June 17 (UPI) -- Dee Gordon singled home the game-winning run in the 10th inning Sunday, rallying the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 2-1 interleague win over the Chicago White Sox.

Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the ninth, Los Angeles forced extra innings when Bobby Abreu singled off Addison Reed, went to third on Elian Herrera's hit and came in on Juan Rivera's sacrifice fly.

Then in the 10th, Tony Gwynn Jr. delivered a one-out triple off Matt Thornton (2-5) and two batters later Gordon knocked him in with a hit to shallow left, handing the Dodgers the rubber match of a three-game series pitting division leaders.

The rally made a winner of Ronald Belisario (3-0), who pitched two scoreless frames of relief.

Los Angeles starter Chris Capuano struck out 12 over eight innings, during which he yielding only one run on six hits.

Chisox counterpart Jose Quintana was even better in his fifth major league start, producing eighth shutout innings. The rookie didn't issue a walk and struck out six in the no-decision.

Dayan Viciedo went 2-for-4 with an RBI single for Chicago.
