Hot Logano clams fourth win in five races

BROOKLYN, Mich., June 16 (UPI) -- Joey Logano held off James Buescher down the stretch at Michigan International Speedway Saturday, claiming his fourth Nationwide Series win in five starts.

Logano held the lead after a final restart with four laps to go and spent the rest of the race fending off a furious charge from Buescher on the newly paved track.

He finished 0.2 seconds in front for his fifth Nationwide win overall this season.

The race had been stopped briefly when Josh Richards' car had erupted into flames during an accident involving Jamie Dick with less than 10 laps remaining.

Kurt Busch -- recently reinstated following a suspension -- came in third while rookies Cole Whitt and pole sitter Austin Dillon rounded out the Top 5.

Points leader Elliott Sadler finished 11th, allowing Dillon to move within eight points of him for the top spot.
