MLB: Arizona 11, Texas 3

ARLINGTON, Texas, June 14 (UPI) -- Jason Kubel hit the first of Arizona's three homers to put the Diamondbacks in front for good Thursday and they went on to roll over Texas 11-3.

Kubel's two-run home run in the second inning gave Arizona a 2-1 advantage and the Diamondbacks later got a three-run shot from Gerardo Parra and a two-run blast from Miguel Montero.

Lyle Overbay drove in three runs with a pair doubles in the third and sixth.

Arizona salvaged the finale of a three-game series and ended the Rangers' winning streak at three.

Daniel Hudson (3-1) was the beneficiary of a 14-hit Arizona attack and collected the win by holding Texas to three runs on five hits in seven innings. Hudson struck out seven and did not issue a walk.

Scott Feldman continued to struggle since moving into the starting rotation for the injured Neftali Feliz. Feldman (0-6) allowed four runs on eight hits in five innings.
