PARIS, June 14 (UPI) -- The $377,000 watch tennis star Rafael Nadal wears was found near a railway south of Paris after it was stolen from his hotel room, police said.
The watch was found after police arrested the 39-year-old barman who worked at the hotel Nadal stayed at during his French Open title run after the barman confessed to stealing the watch Tuesday, Radio France Internationale reported.
The barman, whose name was not released, told police where he hid the watch. The barman had a record of thefts and other crimes before this incident.
Nadal, who won his record seventh French Open Monday, said he was happy the watch had been found and he planned to stay at the same hotel for next year's French Open.
