MLB: LA Dodgers 5, LA Angels 2

LOS ANGELES, June 13 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier's game-tying single Tuesday, the day he signed a 5-year contract extension, set the stage for the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-2 win over the LA Angels.

Ethier's eighth-inning base hit set the stage for a three-run homer by Juan Rivera that gave the Dodgers the victory on the night that Angels Manager Mike Scioscia was honored at Dodger Stadium with a bobblehead give-away saluting his stellar career with the Dodgers.

Jamey Wright (3-2) pitched the eighth for the victory and Kenley Jansen struck out two in the ninth for his 10th save.

Jerome Williams (6-4) took the loss after allowing five runs on six hits and striking out seven over 7 2/3 innings.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-5 for the Angels, who did not record an RBI in the game -- scoring runs in the third and sixth inning on Dodger errors.
