BAD GASTEIN, Austria, June 11 (UPI) -- Rain limited play at the Nurnberger Gastein Ladies tennis tournament in Austria to part of one match Monday.

The $220,000 tournament was to complete qualifying and have six first-round matches in the main draw. The qualifying did finish but only one match in the main draw even began. Mandy Minella was ahead of Ajla Tomljanovic 6-3, 4-3 when play was stopped.

Julia Goerges, who won the event in 2010, is the top seed.

Defending champion Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez isn't in the field this year. Local favorite Patricia Mayr-Achleitner, who is playing, was last year's runner-up.

The tournament is to run through Sunday.
