NEW YORK, June 11 (UPI) -- New York Giants left tackle David Diehl was arrested for drunken driving in New York Sunday after his BMW crashed into multiple parked cars.

Police said the Giants star registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.18, 10 points above the legal limit, and was arrested at the scene, the New York Daily News reported. Formal charges are pending.

Photos of Diehl and tweets from Diehl's Twitter account indicate he was at the Scorpio Cafe & Bar in the Astoria section of Queens, cheering on the Croatian national soccer team as they played Ireland in the European Championships.
