ATLANTA, June 11 (UPI) -- Ivan Nova fired seven scoreless innings and four New York relievers completed a five-hit shutout Monday in the Yankees' 3-0 interleague win over Atlanta.

Nova (8-2) won his fourth straight start, scattering five hits while issuing one walk and striking out six for the Yankees, who improved in 8-2 in June and pulled into a tie with Tampa Bay for first place in the American League East.

Cody Eppley, Clay Rapada, Cory Wade and Boone Logan teamed up to blank Atlanta in the eighth and ninth for the Yankees, who took the opener of a three-game series.

Raul Ibanez socked a solo homer and Robinson Cano also knocked in a run for New York.

The Braves' Randall Delgado (4-6) absorbed the loss, yielding six walks along with five hits en route to allowing three runs.

Second-place Atlanta fell three games behind National League East leader Washington, which beat Toronto 6-3 Monday.
