PHOENIX, June 10 (UPI) -- Jason Kubel and Aaron Hill each drove in two runs Sunday, backing Joe Saunders' strong start in Arizona's 4-3 interleague win over Oakland.

Kubel's RBI single giving Arizona a 4-2 lead in the fifth inning proved to be the decisive hit, while Hill supplied a two-run single in the first as Arizona completed a three-game sweep of the Athletics.

Saunders (4-4) limited the A's to one earned run on seven hits in his six-inning effort.

After David Hernandez pitched a scoreless eighth, J.J. Putz nailed down his 13th save with a 1-2-3 ninth as the D-backs won their fifth straight, reaching the .500 mark at 30-30.

Oakland starter Travis Blackley (0-2) was touched for four runs (three earned) on six hits over 4 2/3 innings.

Brandon Inge and Seth Smith drove in runs for Oakland.
