DETROIT, June 7 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run home run Thursday and the Detroit Tigers made two big innings stand for a 7-5 win over the Cleveland Indians.

Cabrera hit a two-run home run in Detroit's three-run fourth inning to build on a four-run first in which the Tigers pulled together five singles and a wild pitch for four runs in breaking a five-game losing streak to Cleveland.

Indians starter Derek Lowe (7-4) gave up seven earned runs. The Tigers had nine of their 10 hits off Lowe, who lasted five innings. He walked one and struck out four.

Casey Crosby (1-1) collected his first major league win with a five-hit, three run outing over 5 1/3 innings. He walked three and struck out two. Jose Valverde collected his 10th save.

Quintin Berry and Brennan Boesch opened the Detroit first with singles. After an out Prince Fielder singled in Berry and Delmon Young got Boesch home with a base hit. After a force out, Fielder scored on a wild pitch and Don Kelly capped the rally with an RBI single.

Jose Lopez had a run-scoring double for Cleveland in the fourth but Boesch doubled in a run before Cabrera hit his 10th home run of the year.

Carlos Santana knocked in a run, Lopez had a sacrifice fly for the Indians in the sixth and Asdrubal Cabrera doubled in two others for the Indians in the seventh.
