ANAHEIM, Calif., June 3 (UPI) -- Nelson Cruz belted a two-run homer and Elvis Andrus went 3-for-4 with two RBI Sunday in the Texas Rangers' 7-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Texas was clinging to a 3-2 lead in the seventh when Michael Young led off the frame with a single and Cruz followed by crushing a 3-0 pitch from Bobby Cassevah far over the left-center field fence, breaking the game open.

Andrus contributed an RBI double in the third and capped the scoring with a run-producing single in the ninth for the Rangers, who salvaged one win in their three-game series at Anaheim.

Matt Harrison (7-3) earned the win, allowing three runs on four hits in 6 2/3 innings. The left-hander walked three and struck out three.

Angels starter Dan Haren (3-6) gave up a pair of runs on seven hits in a five-inning effort.

Mike Trout had two hits and an RBI for Los Angeles, which fell 4 1/2 games behind American League West-leading Texas.
