CLEVELAND, May 26 (UPI) -- Cleveland Indians catcher Carlos Santana has been placed on the disabled list with a concussion, the team said Saturday.
Santana was put on the seven-day DL following the Friday's 9-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox.

The catcher came out of the game in the eighth inning when he was hit square on the mask with a foul tip.
Taking his spot on the roster was catcher Luke Carlin, who was recalled from Class AAA Columbus.
The Tribe also moved reliever Rafael Perez from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL.
