MIAMI, May 14 (UPI) -- Miami forward Chris Bosh will be out of the lineup for an undetermined length of time because of a strained abdominal muscle.

Bosh was injured shortly before halftime of the Heat's 95-86 victory Sunday over the Indiana Pacers in the first game of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Subsequent examinations revealed the muscle strain. The team said it was unknown when Bosh would be able to return to the court.

He has averaged 14.7 points and 6.8 rebounds in Miami's six playoff games this season. Bosh scored 18.0 points and had 7.9 rebounds a game in the regular season.

Game 2 of the Pacers-Het series is scheduled for Tuesday in Miami.
