MIAMI, April 30 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade led Miami with 25 points Monday and the Heat cruised to a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series with a 104-94 victory over New York.

Chris Bosh scored 21 points and LeBron James had 19 for the Heat, who followed up on a 33-point rout of New York in Saturday's Game 1 of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Miami will seek a commanding 3-0 advantage when the series moves to Madison Square Garden Thursday.

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 30 points and Amare Stoudemire scored 18.

New York fell for the 12th straight time in post-season play, tying the 2004-2006 Grizzlies for the NBA record in that regard.
