NBA: Chicago 92, Indiana 87

INDIANAPOLIS, April 25 (UPI) -- Kyle Korver hit four 3-pointers and scored 20 points Wednesday in leading the Chicago Bulls to a 92-87 victory over Indiana.

The Bulls began the evening tied with San Antonio for the best record in the NBA and kept the pressure on the Spurs on the next-to-last day of the regular season.

Chicago led by as many as 15 points in the second period and owned a 10-point advantage heading into the game's final minute.

Carlos Boozer added 16 points and seven rebounds while Joakim Noah contributed 14 points. Chicago has won six of its last eight to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Indiana became the first team in the NBA to close out its regular season and was one of four to do so Thursday. The Pacers will head into the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the East.

Lance Stephenson had a career-best 22 points for the Pacers, who lost two of their last three of the campaign after winning seven in a row.
