MLB: Baltimore 3, Toronto 0

BALTIMORE, April 25 (UPI) -- Jason Hammel and two relievers combined to bring the Baltimore Orioles their first shutout of the season Wednesday in a 3-0 victory over Toronto.

After giving up 12 runs in two days during back-to-back losses to the Los Angeles Angels, the Orioles have allowed a total of three runs in their last three outings -- all wins.

Hammel (3-0) gave up four hits with a walk and struck out seven in seven innings. The shutout was completed by Matt Lindstrom and Pedro Strop, who gave up two hits in the ninth but managed his second save.

Baltimore got solo homers from Wilson Betemit in the second and Chris Davis in the fourth. Adam Jones completed the scoring with an RBI double in the eighth.

Kyle Drabek (2-1) suffered the loss after giving up two runs in six innings.
