OAKLAND, Calif., April 19 (UPI) -- Andrew Bynum scored 31 points Wednesday, Pau Gasol had a triple-double and the Los Angeles Lakers downed Golden State 99-87.
With Kobe Bryant on the bench for a seventh straight game with a sore left shin, the Lakers remained a half game in front of the Los Angeles Clippers for first place in the Pacific Division. The Lakers are 5-2 this season with Bryant out of the lineup.

Bynum made 10-of-12 from the field and all seven of his free throws. Gasol had 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for his fifth career triple-double.
The Lakers won for the 40th time this season.
Golden State, which has suffered six straight losses, were led by Klay Thompson with 17 points.
