NBA: Washington 121, Milwaukee 112

WASHINGTON, April 18 (UPI) -- A 32-point effort from Jordan Crawford Wednesday lifted the Washington Wizards to a 121-112 win over Milwaukee that damaged the Bucks' playoff hopes.

Milwaukee slipped 2 1/2 games out of the final post-season spot in the Eastern Conference with five games to play.

Crawford equaled his largest point total of the season, first achieved Feb. 22 against Sacramento. He made 11-of-17 from the field and hit 9-of-12 from the foul line.

Washington overcame a two-point halftime deficit to move in front by nine heading into the final period and held on down the stretch to hand the Bucks their second straight loss. The Wizards have won just 16 games this season, second-fewest in the NBA, but have captured two in a row.

John Wall, Kevin Seraphin and Nene each added 14 points for Washington, which enjoyed a rare hot shooting performance while hitting 55 percent.

Monta Ellis had 31 points for the Bucks, whose bench was outscored 43-17.
