Red-hot Wozniacki makes e-Boks finals

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, April 14 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki beat Croatia's Petra Martic in straight sets Saturday to claim a berth in the finals of the e-Boks open in her native Denmark.

Wozniacki, who grew up on the courts outside Copenhagen, will try for her third consecutive e-Boks title on Sunday against Angela Kerber, who eliminated Jelena Jankovic Saturday.

Kerber, who won the Paris Indoors in February, routed Jankovic, a former World No. 1, 6-2, 6-1 for her first straight-set match of the tournament.

Wozniacki, currently No. 6 in the world, needed 68 minutes to overcome Martic and make it to her first finals of the season. Wozniacki has not lost a set in four matches this week and is 2-0 lifetime against Kerber.
