NBA: LA Clippers 112, Golden State 104

LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- Chris Paul netted 28 points and Blake Griffin added 20 Saturday, powering the Los Angeles Clippers past Golden State 112-104.

Paul also dished off 13 assists while Griffin pulled down nine rebounds as the Clippers put the heat on the rival Lakers in the race for the Pacific Division crown.

The Clippers moved to within one game of the Lakers with the help of DeAndre Jordan, who scored 18 points, and Mo Williams, who contributed 14 in the victory.

The Warriors, meanwhile, lost despite 28 points and eight assists from Nate Robinson.

Klay Thompson supplied 24 points and Dorell Wright chipped in with 23 for Golden State.
