MLB: N.Y. Yankees 6, Baltimore 4 (10 inn.)

BALTIMORE, April 11 (UPI) -- Nick Swisher hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning Wednesday, boosting the New York Yankees to a 6-4 win over Baltimore and a three-game sweep.

The Yankees downed the Orioles in extra innings for the second straight night, surviving in the ninth inning when reliever Rafael Soriano struck out Adam Jones with the bases loaded to end the frame.

Mark Teixeira then blooped a double down the left field line with two away in the 10th and Swisher hit the second pitch from Kevin Gregg (0-1) over the wall in right.

Soriano (1-0) got the win and Mariano Rivera came on in the 10th for his second save. It was the 40th save of Rivera 's career at Camden Yards, the most ever at Baltimore's home park for a visiting pitcher.

New York has won three in a row after losing its first three. Curtis Granderson hit a two-run homer for the Yankees in the first and forged a 3-3 tie in the seventh with an RBI single.
