NBA: Golden State 112, Denver 97

OAKLAND, Calif., April 8 (UPI) -- Brandon Rush and David Lee teamed up for 37 points Saturday and the Golden State Warriors shook off a recent slump to best Denver 112-97.

Rush finished with 20 points. Lee provided 17 and nine rebounds.

Klay Thompson put in 15 points and Nate Robinson supplied 14 as the Warriors took the first of a home-and-home series with the Nuggets and posted just their second win in nine games.

Denver, clinging to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, fell despite 21 points from Ty Lawson and 19 from Al Harrington.
