MLB: LA Dodgers 6, San Diego 5 (11 inn.)

SAN DIEGO, April 8 (UPI) -- Dee Gordon went 3-for-4 and drove in the winning run in the 11th inning Saturday, handing the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-5 win over San Diego.

A.J. Ellis led off the top of the 11th with single off Anthony Bass (0-1), then went to second on a sacrifice by Justin Sellers. One out later, Ellis came home on Gordon's decisive hit.

Todd Coffey (1-0) earned the triumph with a scoreless 10th inning and Javy Guerra finished up with his second save of the year for the Dodgers, who won their third straight to start the season.

The Dodgers were forced to go extras after blowing a five-run lead in the fifth inning, The Padres tied it up with a rally during which Los Angeles issued three bases-loaded walks and let a run score on a wild pitch.

Chase Headley, Jesus Guzman, Nick Hundley and Orlando Hudson drove in runs for the Padres, who fell to 0-3.
