BALTIMORE, April 7 (UPI) -- Tommy Hunter didn't allow an earned run through seven innings and Baltimore cracked 13 hits Saturday in its 8-2 win over Minnesota.

The Twins got only two unearned runs off Hunter (1-0) who scattered six hits and a walk, and struck out three as the Orioles won their second straight to begin the season.

Nick Markakis went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, while Adam Jones and Matt Wieters also connected for solo shots in the O's win.

Ronny Paulino finished 4-for-4 with two runs scored and Robert Andino added a two-run single for Baltimore.

Minnesota's Francisco Liriano (0-1) was tagged for six runs (five earned) on eight hits over four innings.

Joe Mauer collected the Twins' only RBI.
