NASHVILLE, April 3 (UPI) -- Alexander Radulov's forehand wrist shot in the third round of a shootout Tuesday propelled the Nashville Predators to a 2-1 victory over Minnesota.
Anders Lindback backed Radulov's tally with stops on Mikko Koivu and Devin Setoguchi in the tiebreaker, handing the Predators a victory that moved them past Detroit into fourth place in the Western Conference with two game remaining.
Lindback, subbing for the ill Pekka Rinne, turned aside 25 shots and Gabriel Bourque scored in the second period for Nashville.
Dany Heatley scored and Niklas Backstrom turned aside 23 shots for the Wild, who have played in four straight games that went beyond regulation, winning the previous three. Minnesota has been eliminated from post-season contention.
