AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 3 (UPI) -- Greg Monroe fired in 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Tuesday, sparking the Detroit Pistons past injury-riddled Orlando 102-95.

Ben Gordon finished with 18 points, seven assists and seven boards for Detroit, which took advantage of the absence of Magic defensive player of the year Dwight Howard.

The Orlando star missed his second straight game with a sore back. Starters Jameer Nelson (calf) and Ryan Anderson (ankle) were also out of the Magic lineup.

Tayshaun Prince and Jason Maxiell chipped in with 15 points apiece as for the Pistons, who won for the fourth time in five games.

Glen Davis supplied 31 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando, which lost its fourth straight and dropped to fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
