UNIONDALE, N.Y., April 1 (UPI) -- Kyle Turris notched two goals and a pair of assists Sunday and the Ottawa Senators clinched a playoff spot with a 5-1 win over the New York Islanders.

The Senators punched their return ticket to the post-season with the help of Milan Michalek, who contributed a goal and two assists.

Nick Foligno and Sergei Gonchar helped out with a goal and an assist, while Craig Anderson made 29 stops as the Senators won their fourth straight.

Ottawa will make a reappearance in the playoffs following a 13th-place finish last season.
