NBA: Toronto 99, Washington 92

TORONTO, April 1 (UPI) -- Andrea Bargnani was effective at both ends of the court with 18 points and eight rebounds Sunday, helping the Toronto Raptors best Washington 99-92.

Bargnani hit two free throws in the final minute, which pushed the Raptors' lead to seven points, and Toronto held on down the stretch to record its second win in three games.

DeMar DeRozan and Jose Calderon each contributed 15 points in the victory.

Washington, meanwhile, lost for the sixth time in seven contests despite 13 points and 11 assists from John Wall.

Jordan Crawford put in 18 points and Kevin Seraphin added 16 for the Wizards.
