PHILADELPHIA, March 31 (UPI) -- Jason Spezza's goal in the second round of a shootout Saturday lifted the Ottawa Senators to a 4-3 decision over Philadelphia.

Spezza also scored in regulation, as did Chris Neil, while Daniel Alfredsson contributed a goal and an assist as the Senators strengthened their hold on the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

Craig Anderson helped extend the Senators' winning streak to three games with 36 saves.

Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 26 shots for the Flyers, who with the single point for the shootout loss pulled to within three of idle Pittsburgh in the race for the East's No. 4 seed.

Sean Couturier, Wayne Simmonds and Braydon Coburn found the net for Philadelphia in the setback, its second in three games.
