UNIONDALE, N.Y., March 31 (UPI) -- David Krejci netted a pair of goals Saturday and the Boston Bruins closed in on a Northeast Division title with a 6-3 victory over the New York Islanders.

Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand also chipped in with a goal and an assist each for the Bruins, who scored twice within a 24-second span late in the game to ice the win.

Patrice Bergeron and Chris Kelly each added a goal while Marty Turco made 19 saves in the victory, which gave the Bruins an eight-point lead over Ottawa atop the division with four games to play.

The Islanders lost despite two scores from P.A. Parenteau and another from Kyle Okposo.

Al Montoya yielded all six Boston goals on 27 shots.
