NBA: New York 91, Cleveland 75

NEW YORK, March 31 (UPI) -- J.R. Smith scored 20 points and Carmelo Anthony added 19 Saturday, helping New York overcome the loss of Jeremy Lin and dispatch Cleveland 91-75.

The Knicks learned before the game their point guard would likely be lost for the season with a torn meniscus in his left knee. They are also missing forward Amar'e Stoudemire, who is out 2-4 weeks with a bulging disk in his back.
