ATLANTA, March 28 (UPI) -- Luol Deng hit five of Chicago's nine 3-pointers and scored 22 points Wednesday, lifting the Bulls to a 98-77 win over Atlanta.
Chicago dominated the second half and won for the fifth time in the six games that Derrick Rose has missed with a groin injury.
The Bulls were coming off a loss to Denver, but have not suffered back-to-back setbacks this season.
Taj Gibson had a season-best 19 points for Chicago and both John Lucas and Joakim Noah had 10.
Josh Smith scored 19 for Atlanta, which has lost two in a row.
The Hawks cut a 12-point halftime deficit to four early in the third period but Deng then paced a 12-0 Chicago run that decided he contest.
Chicago won three of the four meetings with the Hawks this season.
