DES MOINES, Iowa, March 27 (UPI) -- Brittney Griner had 23 points and 15 rebounds Monday, helping Baylor beat Tennessee 77-58 and advance to the NCAA Women's Basketball Division I Final Four.
Griner blocked nine shots for the undefeated and the top-seeded Lady Bears (38-0), who are seeking their first berth in the championship game since 2005 when they beat Michigan State for the national title.
Odyssey Sims led Baylor with 27 points, including five 3-pointers, and Kimetria Hayden chipped in with 18 for the Lady Bears, who will next take on Stanford April 1 in the national semifinals.
The Cardinal bounced Duke 81-69 Monday in the Fresno Regional final.
Second-seeded Tennessee (27-9) got 22 points and 11 boards from Shekinna Stricklen.
Glory Johnson added 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Volunteers.
