PHILADELPHIA, March 26 (UPI) -- Steven Stamkos notched his team-record 53rd goal of the season and Martin St. Louis added a goal and an assist Monday in Tampa Bay's 5-3 win over Philadelphia.
J.T. Wyman, Ryan Malone and Tom Pyatt also scored as the Lightning kept their dim playoff hopes alive with a victory that gave them 77 points for the season.
That total put them seven points behind idle Washington for the final spot in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand on the Capitals.
Dwayne Roloson earned the win with 35 saves.
Fifth-seeded Philadelphia got goals from Wayne Simmonds, Matt Read and Scott Hartnell.
Ilya Bryzgalov yielded four goals on just 14 shots for the Flyers.
